Special Event on the 'Role of Teachers in Nation Building' Slated on Teachers' Day in the University of Delhi
On the
occasion of Teacher's Day, a special program is being organized under the joint
aegis of Value Addition Curriculum (VAC)Committee, University of Delhi and
Bharat Vikas Parishad on 5th September. The keynote address shall be given by Suresh Bhaiyyaji
Joshi, former Sarkaryavah, RSS. Arjun Ram Meghwal shall grace the gathering as
the chief guest. Suresh Jain, National Organising Secretary, Bharat Vikas
Parishad and Adarsh Goyal former Supreme Court Justice shall be the other
esteemed guests. The Vice Chancellor of the University of Delhi, Prof. Yogesh
Singh shall preside over the program.
Giving information in this regard, the program convener, Prof. Niranjan
Kumar, Chairman, Value Addition Courses Committee and Dean (Planning),
University of Delhi (DU) told that the program will comprise of
speeches and deliberations on important topics pertaining to education and the
contribution of teachers in nation building. Highlighting all these ideas and
determining the future directions, this is the first event of its kind at
university level to be held in more than a decade in DU. Prof. Kumar further said that under the
guidance and patronage of current Vice Chancellor Prof. Yogesh Singh, DU is
continuously and diligently engaged in this very important, all-round
development of the nation.
Prof.
Niranjan Kumar said that the event shall be attended by numerous national level dignitaries
from the academic world, law and industry, police, administration including the
Vice-Chancellors of various universities. Deans, Heads of Departments,
Principals, Professors and researchers would also be a part of this program. A
book would also be released to mark the occasion. Much enthusiasm is seen in the entire
university regarding the event.
