Highlights from the 8th BRICS International Competition Conference in New Delhi: Plenary Session 1
The 8th BRICS International Competition Conference is taking place from the 11th to the 13th of October 2023 at The Ashok in New Delhi. The conference revolves around the theme "New Issues in Competition Law and Policy," offering various perspectives and addressing challenges in the field.
The day commenced with the Opening Ceremony, which included the lighting of the lamp and welcome addresses by Smt. Ravneet Kaur and Hon’ble Justice Ashok Bhushan.
The day continued with the Plenary Session 1, moderated by CCI, India, focusing on the release and discussion of BRICS joint documents. Key speakers included representatives from South Africa,
and from China.
