Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare is organizing one-day National Conference on Agriculture for Rabi Campaign on 26th September, 2023 at New Delhi under the Chairmanship of Secretary (A&FW). The Conference will be attended by officers from Ministries, States, UTs, Organizations and panelists on different subjects. Secretary (Fertilizer) and Secretary (DARE) will address the conference.
Key Note addresses will be delivered by Dr. Ashok Gulati on ‘Moving from production centric to a food systems approach’ and Dr. Harish Damodaran on ‘From Green Revolution 1.0 to Green Revolution 2.0’.
The Conference will be held on a participative mode, including panel discussions on identified topics viz.
1. Climate Resilient Agriculture and Modernization
2. Availability and Innovation in Fertilizer Sector
3. Strategy for Pulses, Maize and Oilseeds during Rabi
4. Digital Technology in Agriculture, involving State Government Officers, Central Ministries and experts for fruitful, result oriented participation and discussions.
