Bureau of Indian Standards organises an event on the eve of World Standards Day, 2023
The Bureau of Indian Standards has organised an event today to mark the occasion of the World Standards Day, 2023 tomorrow. 
Union Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs & Food & Public Distribution and Textiles, Piyush Goyal is presiding as the chief guest at the event. Union Minister of State for Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution; and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, is also present at the event.
The two ministers jointly released catalogues on educating young citizens about the BIS quality and safety standards.
Many other experts and dignitaries from the concerned fields and departments are also present at the event.
