The world will be celebrating 400th Prakash Parv of Guru Teg Bahadur. Guru Teg Bahadur was the ninth of the ten Gurus who founded the Sikh religion. Guru Teg Bahadur remained the leader of the sect from 1665 until 1675 when he was beheaded at the holy Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib after Mughal emperor, Aurangzeb took to the throne.

A colourful evening is being organised by the Ministry of Culture in collaboration with the Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) at the historical Red Fort to commemorate the event. The Chief Guest of the evening is Union Home Minister, Amit Shah. Many other dignitaries are expected to join in the event.

Let's take a glance at some of the pictures of the event:

The Prime Minister is expected to make important announcements in connection with the celebration of the 400th Prakash Parv of Guru Teg Bahadur.
